Kingdom D Podcast With DS Blaze

The scene fades in from black showing King Grixis sitting on a plush red Victorian style lounge chair that is seated across from a similar style couch with an old wooden coffee table between the two. Off to the right is a fireplace that is burning with some logs that were thrown into it before the podcast went on the air. DS Blaze walks into the scene and King Grixis gets up to greet him as he gives DS Blaze a firm shake.
King Grixis: I'm going to be honest man, I was not expecting to see another Kingdom D wrestler answer the call for this podcast. Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time DS Blaze!!
King Grixis gestures to the couch that is across from his plush lounge chair as he sits back down and waits for DS Blaze to do the same before speaking.
King Grixis: Let me start off by officially welcoming you to the Kingdom D family and business. Being a new talent who just signed up and flew overseas to join us in London as we "invade" Universal Championship Wrestling, there has got to be a lot on your mind. What kind of pressures are you facing that you'd like to share tonight? Being the new man on campus and having to compete with two locker rooms... I can't imagine you are having an easy time adjusting.
King Grixis: I'm going to be honest man, I was not expecting to see another Kingdom D wrestler answer the call for this podcast. Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time DS Blaze!!
King Grixis gestures to the couch that is across from his plush lounge chair as he sits back down and waits for DS Blaze to do the same before speaking.
King Grixis: Let me start off by officially welcoming you to the Kingdom D family and business. Being a new talent who just signed up and flew overseas to join us in London as we "invade" Universal Championship Wrestling, there has got to be a lot on your mind. DS Blaze looked at King Grixis, lifting his sunglasses up in response
DS Blaze: Well, the only real issue I have is the lack of catering. I mean come on, we are busting our [BEEP]es off and can’t even get some twinkies backstage?! Even the last Indy place I was at gave us some Oreos and such, but aside from that, I am good, thanks for asking. When you do Indy work, you tend to meet and face people from many rosters or future stars of some. For instance, I worked with this really eerie guy once and heard that he is now a bigshot somewhere else, and damn that was a hard hitting thing. In my mind, I see this as just another day working my job, just with more publicity. Oh, there was also the jet lag issue, that killed me these first few days here.
DS blaze sat back, grinning a bit as he waited for more questions

King Grixis: Please tell me your kidding. With all the -censored- going on in my life and with traveling to do this job I wish catering was my biggest issue.
King Grixis pauses for a few moments before continuing as if trying to just forget about that complaint.
King Grixis: Let's shift gears a gear a bit and focus on more important things. Namely you. DS Blaze is a name not well known in UCW or Kingdom D as you are still the new kid on campus. And I got to ask. Do you have any concerns about what's going on? The world got to learn about DS Blaze and you were part of a 3 on 1 Gauntlet Match but the viewers haven't seen much of DS Blaze on television yet. I suppose the question here is. After UCW Convergence, what is DS Blaze going to bring to the table at Kingdom D back in New Jersey?

DS Blaze: Well, let me just tell you this, you ain’t even seen the surface of what I can do. You see, where I came from, either you showed talent or were buried into obscurity, and lord knows I wouldn’t have gotten a call if I was buried. Things you can look forward to include: chain grapples, suplexes for days, fire breathing, charisma that just, oozes out, and of course... this!!
Blaze clapped his hands and opened them, revealing a card with a black dragon, supposedly the ace of spades
DS Blaze: but parlor tricks are not your interest, you wanna know the talent!! Well, I am quite a submission expert, Hell, I taught my cousin how to use submission holds and he uses a hold inspired by my dragon’s maw hold in Path To Glory. Wonder if you heard of that place, and their Thames champion, the “King of Storms?” Yeah, that is my little cousin, and while he has the speed advantage, I have the strength one, and that isn’t to say that I can’t do good Lucha things either. I can, but...I just, find something more satisfying about pummeling my opponents, and making them tap, or knocking them cold with a move adopted from the big booty daddy himself. So to all out there, be on notice: if you have something shiny around your waist, I will be on your [BLEEP] faster than a vulture on roadkill.

King Grixis chuckles a bit to himself.
King Grixis: I can't be expected to follow every wrestling promotion around the world. But Path To Glory I am all to familiar with. That federation has some interesting characters in it ranging from the "King of Storms" to a beyond self-centered guy, to a glow stick champion, and some eerie dude. But let's focus on the here and now and an interesting scenario. Let's say you are allowed to do any one thing you want at Convergence. What would DS Blaze do? And Why?
King Grixis: I can't be expected to follow every wrestling promotion around the world. But Path To Glory I am all to familiar with. That federation has some interesting characters in it ranging from the "King of Storms" to a beyond self-centered guy, to a glow stick champion, and some eerie dude. DS Blaze: Hmm, I would say that, if I had to choose just ONE thing, I would either be out representing Kingdom D, or behind that commentary desk and helping to entertain the masses! If there is one thing I have picked up on, it is that your mouth can cash you some real good checks and build you up quite a following, so long as you aren't supporting things that are terrible. Hell, it is fun to do commentary, even when the itch to fight is gnawing at your back. You understand that feeling, right?

King Grixis looks dumbfounded for a moment before he replies.
King Grixis: -censored-! You're good!
King Grixis laughs a bit to himself as he leans forward in his seat.
King Grixis: Take it from me kid, As a Kingdom D Legend I have been inside that ring and have accomplished a hell of a lot. But working as a commentator is a lot different than working inside that ring as a competitor. As a competitor your job is to entertain the live audience and the millions watching at home around the world. As a commentator your job is to make what is going on inside the ring entertaining! It's a completely different job. But you get to be a fan again as you have some really great seats.
King Grixis pauses for a moment before he continues.
King Grixis: Baring all that in mind... You want to join the commentary table? I'll talk to Kyra and William Regal and see what strings I can pull. And if you're going to be out there running your mouth along with Korari Gruesome and I then you can tell the fans all about what they have to look forward to when Kingdom D returns home to the Izod Center in New Jersey.
King Grixis then looks over into the eyes of DS Blaze directly.
King Grixis: My last question for you here tonight is what is your ultimate goal in Kingdom D? What do you wish to achieve? And don't say you want to win a championship. I mean actual personal goals my friend.
King Grixis: -censored-! You're good!

DS Blaze: Ah, that my friend, is easy. Anybody can say that they want to win a title, get fans, money, fame, et cetera, but not me. What I want to do, is go out there and be the start of a revolution in this business. I don't want to just be some placeholder champion out there to be a mask of greatness, only to be eaten alive. No no no, I want to make a difference. I want to elevate our company further, and be seen as a legend going on not just here, but around the world, and I know that is no easy task. In fact, it is going to be pretty [BLEEP]ing hard, but you don't get anywhere without time, efforts, and a LOT of broken bodies left in your wake when people try to impede your progress, now do you?
DS Blaze: Ah, that my friend, is easy. Anybody can say that they want to win a title, get fans, money, fame, et cetera, but not me.
