Kingdom D Podcast With Hank Harris

The scene fades in from black showing King Grixis sitting on a plush red Victorian style lounge chair that is seated across from a similar style couch with an old wooden coffee table between the two. Off to the right is a fireplace that is burning with some logs that were thrown into it before the podcast went on the air. Hank Harris walks into the scene and King Grixis gets up to greet him as he gives Hank Harris a firm shake.
King Grixis: If it isn't the man himself! Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome Hank Harris to the set.
King Grixis gestures to the couch that is across from his plush lounge chair as he sits back down and waits for Hank Harris to do the same before speaking.
King Grixis: I just want to say thank you for coming out here to join me on the set. As one of the pioneers for Universal Championship Wrestling a lot has to be going through your mind with Kyra pulling strings and purchasing UCW in it's entirety! What are some of your thoughts and concerns about UCW having a sole owner and no council or board of directors? And for that matter how do you feel knowing that the future of UCW wrestling lies in the hands of Kingdom D and Kyra?

Hank Harris: You know out of the ring I’m a pretty laid back kinda guy and I have to say not much really concerns me. UCW was previously owned by Barry Brooks and having one owner never really made any difference to what I had to do. which was win matches and win championships. With Kyra coming in I don’t see any reason why things need to change for me. I know how good I am, I know that I’m the best wrestler on this roster and the guy that fills those empty seats in the arena, with peoples butts! And once I take back my championship from that old hasbeen Magnus, at Convergence. You, Kyra and the rest of the Kingdom roster will know exactly what they are dealing with.

King Grixis leans forward a bit intrigued as he continues
King Grixis: You remind me of a Kingdom D original CJ Wolf. The guy was one of the first Heavyweight Champions for the company and held the title 3 times well before it evolved into the World Crown. CJ was super serious and was super confident in his abilities. Even outside of the ring in shows like this.
King Grixis then smiles a bit showing that he can be friendly.
King Grixis: But history lesson aside... So Convergence! Hank Harris vs Magnus Warrior in the quite possibly the biggest match of your career. What can we expect to see from Hank Harris that we haven't before? And for that matter what do you think lies ahead for Hank Harris in Kingdom D overseas in New Jersey at the Izod Center?

Hank Harris: As you probably know, I am originally from New York City and I have many friends back home that i’ve not seen in a very long time, some of which owe me quite a bit of money. Franky, if you’re listening to this make sure you don’t get any ideas about skipping town because you know I’ll find you.
King laughs.
Hank Harris: And yes, you’re right, my next match is the biggest of my career so far but to me it’s just another step on my quest for greatness in this sport! It’s a shame that I’m not facing Magnus in his prime, he might of at least then had a chance against me. But instead what you’ll all see on November 17th, is my hand raised and Magnus beaten and retired. He’s been a great wrestler and a worthy opponent, but make no mistake this is my time! And I won't let anyone get in my way of becoming the dominant force in this federation.

King Grixis stands up and leans forward across the coffee table to shake the hand of Hank Harris.
King Grixis: Brother I want to thank you for your time and for all of this insight heading into Convergence. I know for a fact all of the Universal Championship Wrestling fans will be on the edge of their seats for your match against Magnus Warrior. Whether Magnus will retire or not is not what the night is about and myself, personally, would like to see Magnus continue on inside of Kingdom D. We need more gifted veterans. And I hope you are ready to steal the show at Convergence Hank.
